For our dearly beloved members of our Clan. Both human & animal.

Kirsty. Our wee Bravehearted Tartan Exprees. Our beloved Kirsty sadly crossed over the
Rainbow Bridge in December of 2000. Kirsty had bone cancer when we rescued her from the
pound. She gave us such great love and filled our lives with such great joy. Kirsty was very
happy sitting on Patti's or my lap while we were on the computers. She enjoyed the way the
screen changed colors. Now she is up in Heaven helping all the Angels on their computers.
This fine Lad is our Butch, Butch was in the last litter of Saints that we bred while we were living in
Scotland. Butch and the rest of the family had a lot of fun. One of Butch's most remembered
actions by the family was when our two kids went to Auchenblae, the next village with one of their
friends. The three kids had about 2 to 3 miles). We said that we would pick them up and our oldest
son said "No as we never told you that we going to the party here in Auchenblae, we're going to
walk home. Then he hung the phone up. So myself, Patti, Butch and wee Stacy our wee labrador,
went out to meet them.On the way we heard the kids finally coming down the road. At this time,
myself and Patti heard our oldest lad say to the two girls that he would protect them against
anything. Since the three of them were still a little ways off. Myself, Patti and our furkids stepped
off the road and waited for them. When the three kids got closer, Butch jumped out of the bushes
by the road and ran happily to greet them with one very loud joyous bark. Our oldest boy let out a
loud scream and jumped behind the two girls. Pushing the two girls in front of him. After myself and
Patti stopped laughing we asked our oldest boy why he jumped behind the two girls after he said
that he would protect them. He could only say that he thought Butch had been a big Wolf. To this
day he sticks to this story. Yes we have many other memories of Butch. He was Loved by all that
knew him. Butch was one of our show dogs and all the school kids and store owners loved him. He
is now in Heaven with his mom Lady Love of Maybe running in the grass waiting until we are all
together once more.
This a very important and very sadly missed member of our family. Lady was a very special girl
to all of us. Lady did not have any training for what is going to be told by me. I was in the
military at the time and was transferred back to the states to get discharged.
About a month and half before I had to leave, my dear wife Patti had to have an operation on her
brain. Our dear Miss Lady took care of Patti while I was gone. Lady did not have to be trained
on helping Patti to get around the house or to even wake Patti up to make sure that Patti took her
all medications. Patti's doctor's & nurses were amazed to see such a beautiful big dog, taking such
dedicated care of her still very ill mum. But Lady did all of this for the both of us.
Lady did let us know when it was time for her to get fed. She would stand in front of you and
woof at you telling you it is time for dinner. At the same time, her tail would swing on the side
going around like a windmill. Lady also loved our garden. When the vegetables were ready to be
picked she beat Patti to them (Especially the brussel sprouts she'd eat them off the bushel) and
leave the smaller ones to grow a little bigger and she still got to them before Patti did.
Patti and Lady were so very close to each other and when she crossed over the Rainbow Bridge,
Patti was so heart broken. Patti's love for Lady will always be with her forever. You will be able
to see how much Patti loved her Ladylove on her pages. Lady lived a very long life 13 & a half
years and she is still so very sadly missed. I know that she is now waiting for us to join her, so
once again we can run and play in the fields of heaven.
There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth.
It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of all its beautiful colors.
Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows,
hills and valleys with lush green grass.
When a beloved pet dies, the pet goes to this place.
There is always food and water and warm spring weather.
The old and frail animals are young again.
Those who were sick, hurt or in pain are made whole again.
There is only one thing missing,
they are not with their special person who loved them so much on earth.
So each day they run and play until the day comes
when one suddenly stops playing and looks up!
The nose twitches! The ears are up!
The eyes are staring and this one runs from the group!
You have been seen and when you and your special friend meet,
you take him in your arms and hug him.
He licks and kisses your face again and again -
and you look once more into the eyes of your best friend and trusting pet.
Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together never again to be apart.
